History

Dan and Linda Woods and Bob McCone, founders of iDekUSA™, have spent most of their business careers in product development, promotion and distribution.

Back in the 70’s Woods imported and introduced the Finnish made Tunturi™ brand exercise ergometers for cardiac rehabilitation to the medical community through the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology and Sports Medicine Society. Within the next few years Woods developed a sales force that pioneered the fitness craze. He formed his own US design team and became Precor™ USA; developed the phenomenal 610 rowing machine which won several design awards including the prestigious IDSA (Industrial Designers Society of America) award. Precor™ continued to design a full line of complementary commercial and home products. Three years later he sold Precor USA to Dart Kraft’s Westbend Division Next came the creation of a high-end outdoor furniture line. During its industry debut in Chicago, the furniture received 1st place for design excellence by the National Casual Furniture Association.

In 2002 Woods assisted in the restructure of corporate posturing for a now well recognized company in the promotional products industry. One of the valued contacts Woods’ made was to a 30 year veteran in the screen printing business in Santa Maria, California. Bob McCone, Mr. Ink Print-All™, designer of patented accessory attachments for screen-printing machines. His inventions allow screen printers to easily adapt their press to print pockets, long sleeves, leggings, caps and much more.

Woods and McCone began brainstorming on how to evolve the same features of traditional screen-printing into the digital age of heat pressing. Together, they embarked on an intense product development study with numerous refinements and independent testing that has resulted in a registered patent design of unparalleled style, function and value. The INLINE MODULAR HEAT PRESS.

Today, iDek continues to develop NEW and creative products.
