A Quick Guide to the iDekUSA Long Sleeve/Pant Dek™

1: Quikclik™ your Dual Long Sleeve/Pant Dek™ into place on your press. To do so, position the Long Sleeve/Pant Dek™ over the Quikclik™ plate. Line up the holes on the bottom of the Dek™ to match circular dowels of the Quikclik™ plate. When the Dek™ and plate are paired, push the Dek™ toward the press to lock it into place.
The Long Sleeve/Pant Dek™ is compatible with all models of the iDek heat press and can be used on both pedestals.

2: Set the amount of pressure desired by turning the height
adjustment knob located on the underside of the pedestal. Move the upper heat Dek™ over the sleeve Dek(s)™. Bring the handle to the lowered position to test tension. Adjust
accordingly. Raise the heating element and slide the arm away from the long sleeve Dek™.

3: Release the pressure off-set arm from its initial position below
The Long Sleeve/Pant Dek™.

4: Pull the garment onto the Dek™ through the neck (For long
sleeves), or the waist (For upper pant leg), or the ankle (For
lower pant leg) leaving only the surface to be pressed on the
Dek™*.
* Garments can be laid over top of the Dek™ if desired. iDek recommends utilizing
the over/under loading feature available with its Deks™ for optimal pressing and no
risk of ghosting or creasing from the other side of the garment.

5: Reposition the pressure off-set arm to its initial position
beneath the end of the Dek™. The roller allows for easy
positioning, no matter what loading style used.

6: Line up and place your transfer on the garment(s).
Most transfers will be pressed image down on the garment.
A teflon sheet may be used with transfers meant to be pressed “image up.”

7: Slide the heating element into position and press the sleeve(s)
or pant(s). Press according to manufacturer’s time and
temperature guidelines.
When unloading, remember to release the pressure off-set arm
if the over/under loading technique was used. If unused, (not recommended) then the pressure offset arm(s) were never released.
